Thank-you Lord, I really needed to hear that this morning. I really wanted to crawl back into bed and let life happen, but lately I’ve had a desire to check out the inside running track here in town so this is what I did, and I ran a 5k! And now much of the spiritual heaviness I was feeling this morning has left.
Good! Come and rest -you are mine.
Reflection:
This morning I awoke at 4:22 and I had dreamt that I was floating really fast in a river that was filled with garbage that was floating on top. I sensed there were a few others with me. The river ran through a building; the river was sheltered and had a cement wall on the left side and the rest of the building was on the right. Then then the scene changed where I was standing on a paved sidewalk that ran along the riverbank, higher up, looking at the path. Then the scene changed again where a group of us were being led on city streets by someone, and it was dark outside. Then we had gone far enough and we needed to see if we could remember how to get back on our own; it was kind of like a challenge to see who could get to the starting point first. So as I began running back, taking a sharp corner to my right and I saw a few others do the same. Then I was in a building and it was time to go home, but some people wanted to swim in the pool nearby one last time. I could see a bit of a blue and sparkling light reflecting off the water. Further into the building was another pool but I decided to go swimming in the closer one, one last time before going home.
This afternoon I had a short nap and woke up at 3:11, before my alarm. I dreamt that I was in a building and there was a group of people that were totally taking over. They would point to people and tell them to go into a different part of the building. Bella was right beside me at a table and I told her to keep really quiet and we’d leave as quickly as we could. Then a lady came and told us to go to that place. Then Bella was gone. I told them I just wanted to quickly check my phone for something and had begun to text my husband that they had selected Bella and myself to go with them, but I didn’t have enough time so I quickly gave my phone to Piper who was sitting on a bench. I think she was also talking to them. Then later I had a chance to get my phone and as I was talking to them, I was searching for my phone with my left hand, trying to find where Piper had hidden it. I found it underneath a cushion I think and I was looking for my identification and saw that she had put my cards inside between the phone and the phone case, so I was relieved. Then I was standing close by the door to go out and I could have but I had forgotten my phone and needed to go back in and get it. Someone was there and I begged him if he could go and get it for me but he didn’t want to, so I quickly went and got it. Then someone found a way to get out of the building and he led us out. When we got outside I saw there was a lot of white snow, and we quickly ran across the snowy front field and got away. I don’t know how important this dream is, but it could represent that I was feeling really depressed this morning because of how long this journey has been. But after my run I was feeling a lot better. I’m thinking the dream I had yesterday when the person yelled out, “run,” and began closing the sliding wall for privacy could have indicated that I should begin running again, so this is what I had in mind when I decided to go for a run this morning. I had already been thinking to run on the track at the CRRC building for awhile already, so this was a bit of a push for me to go. Another thing I dreamt last night was that Lucas had a tooth that had totally come out but was still in his mouth. He was showing me how loose it was and it kind of just fell out of his gums onto his fingers, so he took it out of his mouth. The whole tooth with the root came out and had a thin long (about an inch) metal piece attached to it like if he had had braces on. After school today we all went to the city and signed some tax papers and then went to BDI-I got a small hot-fudge Sunday with nuts. I haven’t had a lot of time today to think or pray about the meaning of my dreams today but will be talking about it when I have more clarity. Yesterday Lucas dreamt that people were trying to kidnap someone, a lady of importance like a government official, but the lady was safe in her home. He saw a Canadian red and white flag that was flying high on a pole that was on her front yard. This morning I heard the morning dove and a robin! Love spring.. Blessings…
