Father, how will I ever speak on stage without my heart stopping first?
I will sustain you Caroline. On your own you can do nothing, but with me all things are possible.
Father, when I think of all you’ve done and are going to do in my life, you surely do have your hand on me. Thank you for sustaining me and leading me through so much already, and I have so many years ahead of me. I WILL walk in your ways for me Father, for you draw me near every single day!
Yes my faithful one, I do do that, for this is my joy and delight. What else Caroline, what else is on your heart?
Oh Father, please draw me out. Show me what’s in my heart. I want to be able to enjoy my life without needing to guard my heart all the time. You’ve led me to know spiritual freedom in my heart, and now I need to be able to mirror this in the natural. Please continue to make a way like only you know how to do, for you are my way-maker.
Caroline, I will give you your hearts desire, for I am well pleased with you. You said the other day that if I came today, you’d be ready, and I agree with you -you are ready. All is well with you.
Reflection:
What my conversation with the Lord reminds me of is where the Bible says that a house divided against itself cannot stand. My heart has been restored and now knows my value and worth, and therefore I’ve been able to receive Gods love. God has done a miracle in my heart that only he could have done because I had no idea that I was in that spiritual place. God, who is spirit, needed to do his work in me -the only thing I needed to do was to follow his leading and agree with what he wanted to do in my heart, which was to set me free from that bondage. In the natural I feel that I’m still in this place of bondage where my house is divided, and it’s slowing down my walk; I can only go so far in my walk with the Lord in the place I’m in right now. But even in the natural, God is my way maker and has made a way where my house doesn’t need to be divided. When he calls, he also makes a way for his will to be done, his way. God has restored my heart and is restoring my life. I agree with, whole-heartedly and with so much joy, his plans for my life. Having said that, he leads us and we’re exactly where he wants us to be as we’re continuing to do his work in our life. So really, God plows ahead of us, making us ready for the next phase in our life and we are not behind in Gods schedule. God truly is an amazing God, and I worship Him with all of who I am. Our growing faith ultimately becomes something tangible as we continue to pursue him with a passionate heart!!!
