My Father
My dear one, I am near.
Father, I still feel a calm and peace in my heart (like yesterday). I know my heart was not like this before. Thank-you Lord for this -you are so good.
You’re welcome my daughter. Draw near Caroline. Come closer -you are mine.
Father, help me draw near to you. My heart is at rest and I’m leaning into you.
My daughter, its time to rise up and speak.
I’m ready to do it Father; I just need your help with preparing my messages. Help me hear your voice so I can be led by you as I prepare.
Then come, we are ready for you.
Reflection:
Happy Monday!!! I just have to say that yesterday when I was on stage, my mind was going blank because I needed to talk before getting baptized, so I hope what I said made sense! This morning I heard these lyrics in my heart, “Come alive in the name of Jesus, come alive in the name of Jesus, this is a house of miracles.” My baptism and recommitment represents that I’m committed to the Lords leading in my life. I believe it also represents my old way of life has passed away and I’m being brought up into a new life. I sensed from the Lord that I needed to cut my hair during this past year, which I’ve just learned from Bible Project (in the Joseph story) represents my whole previous journey or the hardships of life have been cut off. Also, changing clothes represents a change of character or a change of destiny; I had a few dreams awhile ago about changing what I wear; not wearing pants anymore, and one where I had hung up my pants. So I’ve begun wearing skirts and dresses more which I absolutely enjoy!
Last night I dreamt that Jesus my husband and I were staying overnight at my pastors daughter’s house, along with two other couples. The purpose for this was that early in the morning we were going to do Bible study together. In my dream it was early in the morning, and I remember hearing one of the women saying, “I’ll take these two verses,” and the other woman responded by saying the verses she would take, from the scripture we were going to study. I had a sense they were waiting for us but I was so tired that I kept on sleeping. I vaguely sensed that they left the room to do the Bible study somewhere else out of respect for us. Then later in the morning their house was really busy with lots of people around. I remember walking towards a bathroom. This morning I didn’t go to the gym because of how tired I was, and I also slept through my alarm when I would have gotten up to begin my Bible study.
I took a short nap this afternoon and I had a short dream where I saw a yellow rose; it had lost one of its pedals which was gently falling down to the ground. Last week or two weeks ago I dreamt that I was brushing my teeth, and I was very careful to brush every part of them, including the top edges of my front bottom teeth. Teeth represents having self-confidence. I’m sensing that I’m slowly growing in confidence, and it all has to do with the work of the Holy Spirit in my heart for which I’m so grateful.
