Rest
Lord Jesus, my heart is full of joy this morning as I think about what You’ve done on the cross for my sins. I feel like I’m dancing in a meadow full of flowers -abundant Joy is the air I breathe! I want my life to be a beautiful dance before You. I offer up my life to You once again. I praise and worship You, for You are worthy to be praised. You Jesus are my Rock and my foundation of purity and truth; of freedom from sin and darkness. You Jesus are my first Love in whom I cling to in absolute adoration! Fill my heart with Your bountiful love, for I cannot live without You! Your glory is indescribable. Your power is beyond my understanding.
My faithful one, your words of praise are an honour to Me in which I am pleased.
Lord, I want to know You more! I want to walk deeper into Your heart and find the treasures that are hidden there, for they are hidden for the purpose of being found by those who are desperate for You.
Come My daughter, come and rest in Me. My heart is big enough for every person if they choose. Come, rest and abide in Me every day.
Thoughts:
I am someone who needs to be invited, and the Lord has invited me to go deeper into His heart! He has invited me to know Him more, and this tells me He wants to be near me. He wants me to come closer to Him, to lean into Him in a deeper way. He’s inviting all of us, but how can we do this?
The key word is every-day. When we come into His presence in surrender every day, we begin to know Him better. We begin to know His presence -His personal aroma. As we surrender our own will for His, every day, He begins to change us within our soul to be more like Him. He is the one who draws us closer to Himself as we surrender to Him every day.
Setting aside time for Him every day when we hardly have enough time to do the things we need to do is quiet difficult, and that’s why we cannot walk this extra mile on our own strength every day. We need His help -so ask Him. All things are possible with Him. He knows what hour of the day or night works for you. You may not agree with the pocket of time He chooses for you if you ask Him, but in time you will see that He’s right. The more time we spend with Him, the better we get at resting in Him and following His hearts desire for us.
I want to abide in You Father and not leave Your side -please help me do this. I surrender to You Father God as I pursue You. Please help me to be faithful to You. ❤️
