My Dad, You know my name, my real name and every person connected to who I am and who I’m yet to become as I walk deeper into your calling for me. In my life you’ll take away and also add too because this is the process of life. All your ways with me are good and are exactly what I need.
Caroline My daughter, you are mine and I’m taking good care of you.
Father, I’m tired of giving so much attention to things I want to avoid, like how the enemy always tries to make me feel. I know it’s his tactic to keep me away from your purpose for me, and with your approval and authority, I push these things behind me so I won’t constantly be looking at them when I want to move forward in what you want me to do. They block me on purpose, and it’s only when I put them behind is when I can begin to walk away from them.
This is completely true my daughter. How are you going to do that?
Through declaring scripture everyday about who I am in Christ. I’ve already come against the spirit of fear and I’ve already walked out of that cage, so from now on I’m going to ignore the familiar feelings of fear in front of me and rather embrace your love for me as we walk, because your love is right in front of me. By remembering that you love me completely and putting it in the forefront of my mind, I think I’ll be able to walk in your purpose for me more effectively.
I am faithful Caroline and I’m walking right beside you. You are never alone -you have my word.
Reflection:
I love snow storms, especially when I’m watching them from inside! In the calm that comes afterward brings such a beautiful landscape, and I love watching the bunnies that hop from underneath one tree to the next. I dreamt last night that I was walking with and being led by Jesus, my husband. We were beside a huge waterfall and we needed to walk down to the water below. The ground we were on suddenly broke off and we quickly kept on going. I remember being helped down, my husband being my support -I could not have gone there alone. The feeling of togetherness was so comforting, and this is what I’m taking with me, remembering that when I’m in the middle of the storm, I can still have the calm in the inside because of the Holy Spirit living within me. I don’t need to wait until after the storm to have the calm, but I can already have it, and because Jesus is always with me, I do have the peace that surpasses all understanding.. This is my hidden place with Jesus today…
