Something New

Psalm 73:28

“But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.”

Dad

Come My daughter, I am yours and you are Mine.

Father, I quiet my heart and my mind so that I can better sense your presence and your voice.

Come my darling, I have a word for you today.

Father, I would very much like to heart it.

You are Mine and I am taking good care of you.

Dad, I can see that you are, and I’m so thankful. I’m truly resting in my heart. I trust you 100% and I believe everything you’ve shown me in our walk together. I’ve always longed to walk intimately with you like Enoch did.

Come my daughter, I want to show you something new. Rest, and I will lead you there.

Okay Dad, thank-you.

You’re welcome my daughter.

Reflection:

Morning!! This morning I went to the 6AM workout class because no one else signed up for the five. So today after our warm up of single unders, rowing and a few other things, the Strength part was 4 Strict Press (I only did 45lbs), every 1 min for 5 min. Then we added a bit of weight (I did 55lbs) and did 3 Push Press, every 1 min for 4 min. Then we did 2 Push Jerks (same weight), every 1 min for 3 min. Then in our workout we did 4 rounds for time of: 50 double unders, 30/25 Row Calories, 7L/7R Single Arm Dumbbell Shoulder-to-Overhead (I did 25lbs). If we couldn’t finish the first round in 4 min, we needed to do 75 single unders instead of double unders (my first round I did double unders but I couldn’t finish everything in 4 min, so I changed to single-unders.

Last week or two weeks ago I made a pizza crust with no flour, and it really is amazing, though we needed to eat it with a fork because the crust isn’t as stiff as regular crust. All you do is grate 2 cups of cabbage, 2 cups of mozzarella cheese (we used the smoked cheese we already had and it worked fine), and 2 eggs. Mix it all together and press it with a fork onto a lined pan and bake it before adding pizza toppings. Preparing this crust reminded me of one of my dreams I had a few weeks ago where I was pressing some kind of dough mixture in a pan with a fork. It’s been my routine to make oatmeal every morning; I normally pour my oatmeal into the water when I can see a bit of bubbles, not boiling, because then it becomes more creamy. Then when I have oatmeal in my bowl I add some milk quickly before it has a chance to get clumpy, then cinnamon and a bit of maple-syrup; I need to have it a bit sweet.

I’m going to make dentist appointments for my kiddos and I. It reminds me of a dream I had a few years ago where it was in the morning and I was sitting on a single bed in a small bedroom; the bed was made. I had just come home the night before from being away; I had fought in a really hard battle, reminding me of the battles that are described in the Bible. In my dream I didn’t remember this battle but I had a sense that it was between good and evil. I finally got to go home and I felt like something that took so long and was so difficult was finally done. As I was sitting on the side of the bed, there was a stillness, a peacefulness in the room and in the house that mirrored my heart. Light was in the room that was coming in from the window, and as I stood up and stood in front of the door, I could see my shadow on the floor because of the light coming from behind me. And I knew that anyone would be able to see the shadow from the other side of the door and know that I was home. I heard my kids laughing together somewhere in the house and I knew they didn’t know yet that I had come home. Then the scene changed where I had walked through the door and was walking in a wider hallway, an area in the middle of other rooms. I stooped down to pick up a small plastic dentist bag that had a toothbrush and toothpaste in it, the same as what they give after a cleaning. After I picked it up I began walking, and I saw a man walking in my direction. My first reaction for only a moment was to run or hide, and then I quickly changed my mind and I put my arms around his neck and we embraced so tenderly like we hadn’t seen each other for a long long time. I know this represents Jesus my best friend and husband..

I had had another dream not that long ago where I saw a deep hole right behind someones ear, and I had thought that a small comb could fit in it. Well, our sink in the bathroom, for the last number of years doesn’t have a drain plug/stop, and awhile ago as I was cleaning the drain with one of my old toothbrushes, it slipped out of my fingers and fell into the drain. Because the water still drained well I procrastinated with trying to get it out. So eventually it became plugged, and last week I got it out. So now it’s unplugged and works great. Anyway, I don’t know if telling you this story is important but it just reminded me of my dream:) Some of the authors/books that I’ve read that have really grown my desire for intimacy with the Lord, for the most part has been Rick Joyner books. The ones I have at home are: Breaking the Power of Evil, There were Two Trees in the Garden, The Overcoming Life, Visions of the Harvest, The Prophetic Ministry, When God Walked the Earth, Enoch’s Blessing (Michael Fickess -Foreword by Rick Joyner), The Final Quest Trilogy: The Final Quest, The Call, The Torch and the Sword, Army of the Dawn (Preparing for the greatest event of all time; A New Breed). I’ve read Fire on the Mountain – The Path (book 1) and The Valley (book 2). I also really look up to Sally Clarkson and I have, Own Your Life. I also have, The Power of the Decree by Patricia King. Also Stormie Omartian. A book that I couldn’t get enough of when I first began spending time with God everyday is, The Mighty Warrior by Elizabeth Alves. I also enjoy Lisa Bevere’s books; Lioness Arising, and Girls with Swords; though I haven’t finished reading these books. Right now I’m reading, “The Hidden Power of the Blood of Jesus” by Mahesh Chavda. Some fiction authors I really enjoy are: George MacDonald; The Peasant Girl’s Dream, The Marquis’ Secret, The Fishermans’s Lady, The Golden Key, The Wise Woman (I’ve always wanted to go to Scotland, Ireland). When I was a teen, I began reading and really enjoyed Lori Wick, Janette Oke, and Gilbert Morris, (The House of Winslow series). In the pizza photo, the one on the left is just the crust. I normally like to add more greens or veggies but we put on what we had:) Make sure you use parchment paper! Also working Wednesday afternoon. Blessings….
