Faith Hope Love

1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

Father, show me my heart. Show me where I’m at with you so we can continue to walk forward together.

I will show you, my daughter. It is finished. Come, you are Mine.

Father, todays the third day, and I’m ready to be shown, to be taught something I’ve not yet learned about. Today’s the day and I really need your help to take this step so we can walk forward together.

I will help you my dear one, for I am delighted in you.

Jesus, is there something you want me to know?

I am near, my faithful daughter. Be anxious for nothing, for time is in my hands. I have covered you.

Jesus, you are my covering and I am so relieved that you are. I know that I am helped by you in more ways than I know. You’ve gone before us, making a way for us even now. You are our shield that surrounds us as we walk. Thank-you for being my Provider as I’ve walked faithfully beside you.

Come, I am near to you today..

Reflection:

My verse this morning is John 12:17, and I was reminded about how the Lord raised Lazarus from the dead after he was in the tomb three days. Just like Lazarus’ sisters wanted Jesus to come right away and heal him, Jesus wanted to show them/us his glory through waiting three days. Jesus wanted them to know that it’s Him that makes a way for us where there is no other way, and he’s definitely done this for me. If I would have had my way, this pocket of time with him wouldn’t have taken this long, but God knows my heart so much better than I do. Now I know that I also needed to be raised from the deadness in my heart about his love. Looking back I’m so thankful for the length of time he’s taken because of how he’s drawn me closer to him.. but here I ago again, saying that I’m ready…

Here are a few snippets of decrees of God’s Favour, Victory, and Love, taken from The Power of the Decree by Patricia King:

Favour:

“I love wisdom and seek diligently for wisdom and understanding. Therefore I have been granted favour by the Lord and favour by others. In the light of my King’s face is life, and His favour is like a cloud with the spring rain over me. His favour is like heavenly dew that falls on my life. I am favoured in His presence, and He goes before me, revealing His goodness and glory to me. He favour opens doors of opportunity for me that no man can shut. By His favour I have been granted the keys of the Kingdom, and whatever I bind on earth has bound in heaven. Whatever I loose on earth has been loosed in heaven. His righteous sceptre of favour is extended toward me. Whatever I ask in the name of Christ He grants unto me when I make my requests and petitions according to His will.” (John 17:22: Psalm 30:5,7; Matthew 16:19)

Victory:

“I am accepted in the Beloved. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Nothing can separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus my Lord. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am not a slave of sin, but rather of righteousness. I continue in His Word. I know the truth, and the truth sets me free. Because Christ has set me free, I am free indeed. I have been delivered out of the domain of darkness and am now abiding in the Kingdom of God. I submit to God and resist the devil. The enemy flees from me in terror because the Lord lives mightily in me. I give the devil no opportunity. I give no place to fear in my life. God has not given me a spirit of fear but of love, of power and of a sound mind. Terror shall not come near me because the Lord is the strength of my life and He always causes me to triumph in Christ Jesus. In Christ, I am the head and not the tail. I am above and not beneath. I am seated with Christ in the heavenly places far above all principalities and powers. I am more than a conqueror through Christ.” (2 Corinthians 5:17,21; Ephesians 4:27; Romans 6:14; Romans 8:38,39; 1 John4:4)

Love:

“The Lord loves me with an everlasting love and has promised to give me a future and a hope. With loving kindness He has drawn me to Himself. I look carefully and intently at he manner of love the Father has poured out upon me. It is through this love that He has called me to be His dear child. I am completely and fully accepted in Him, my God and Saviour. Nothing can separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus my Lord. God’s love toward me is patient and kind. His love for me bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things. His love will never fail. His love for me is so rich that He gave His only begotten Son on my behalf. Because of this, I will never perish but will have everlasting life with Him. As a result of God’s great love for me, I have an unbreakable, eternal covenant with Him. Through this covenant of love, He has put His laws within my heart and has written His commandments upon my mind. I have been invited to the Lord’s banqueting table, and His banner over me is love. His love is better than the choicest of wines. Through His intimate love, He draws and invites me to follow after Him. I am fair and pleasant to Him. I am rooted and grounded in His love, and I am well able to comprehend with all believers what is the width and length and depth and height of His unfailing love. I have been called to know this rich love that surpasses knowledge so that I may be filled with all the fullness of God. Truly I am the object of His deepest love and affection! Because I am rooted and grounded in God’s love, I am able to love Him well all my days. He is my first love, and I love Him because He first loved me. I love God with all my heart, soul and strength. All that I do, I do for the love of God. Because I am so loved by God, I love others well. I love them as He has loved me, which proves me to be His own. I am marked by love and for love.” (Jeremiah 31:3; 1 John 3:1; John 3:16; Hebrew 8:10; Ephesians 3:17; 1John 4:11; 1 Corinthians 13:4-8,13) I trust in his love, and I’m ready to dive deeper in!!
