Jeremiah 51:15-16
“He made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding. When he thunders the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightening with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.”
My Father,
My daughter. I love you; you are Mine. Come, I have a word for you today.
Oh Father, I love you and I worship you. Thank-you for being near. Thank-you for your faithfulness. I’m sensing you say that in a quiet trust, or a steadfast trust, is my strength.
Come my darling, there’s more.
Okay Father, I’m so honoured, please tell me more. Father I just sensed the word ‘expired.’ Is this right? I’m sensing the word, ‘yes.’ Father I’m also sensing the word ‘Just.’ Thank-you Father that you are Just. I am your daughter, I am loved, and I belong to you. Thank-you that I am in your care. I’m more thankful than words can say..
Now come my daughter and rest. I have spoken.
Okay Father, I love you.
Reflection:
Hey hey, how are you all doing? Yesterday I brought 44 cupcakes and 3 pies for someone’s Birthday celebration, and everyone loved them -warms my heart… I needed to buy the three pie pans because I had given my other ones away for the pie auction, last year and this year. I have one other one that I’ve had for years and I’ll bake another pie in it for next year. So the ones I used on Friday I had never used before, so they’ve become special:) In the red ones, one of them was banana cream and the other was coconut. In the clear one I combined banana and coconut, which we renamed canocanut:) I really like these recipes which I found in the red Betty Crocker cookbook. I use that one the most along with some other Mennonite cookbooks. I agreed to being in our church’s Easter production and I’m really excited! A bit nervous; because I’m always honest, I grew up learning that dancing was wrong so I don’t know how to dance, and now I’m sure I’ll need to dance at least a little bit. But I’m still going to do it because I know I’m breaking out of a shell, and it’s my pleasure, though sometimes difficult, to follow Jesus, so I’m determined to do it and have fun with it!! My husband and I were extra’s in a small film years ago in Chicago for some students who were taking a film class. It was fun:) Our small group of poor families who had survived some kind of alien attacks had to pretend that we were coming out from being underground in hiding for many years and finally being able to see the sun, so we had to shield our eyes and act really amazed by what we saw as we came out of hiding:) Two evenings ago the Northern lights were amazing! The kids were watching them at our neighbour’s backyard and I found a spot in our backyard where there wasn’t any streetlights. I was reminded of how Holy and powerful God is. Then as I was standing there for about an hour, I noticed the big dipper or small dipper I’m not sure, but it had slowly moved overtop of me, so it made me think about how Jesus has been pursuing my heart and he’s now caught me:) A few days ago I learned a new way to rope climb where the rope is underneath my feet instead of around my leg, and it’s called a J hook. Last night I dreamt I was really high on a pole and I was coming down really fast. I was holding onto the handles, one on each side of the pole, and where I could rest my feet was too far down for me to reach (I saw a small black foot-rest on each side of the pole). I came down really fast, almost like I was falling -no resistance?, and when I got near the ground I let go and landed onto the ground in a falling type way but it was like I knew how to fall so it didn’t hurt. I’m sensing that I needed to land, and that having an organized fall wasn’t because I couldn’t stay on the pole, but that I needed to come off the pole and it happened really quickly. I vaguely saw a woman sitting on the ground at the foot of the pole with something around her, so I needed to avoid crashing into her, though she was protected by what was around her. The pole reminds me of a flag pole. Anyway, last week at Bellas dentist appointment at the Heritage Centre the Hall was once again decorated for a wedding, so beautiful…. Blessings…
